Nebraska AEYC holds an annual statewide planning retreat every summer at Mahoney State Park in the beautiful Riverview Lodge. Using an innovative, interactive process of Café Conversations, the retreat offers an opportunity to network with early childhood education colleagues from across the state, share ideas about what’s happening in early childhood in Nebraska as well as around the country, and generate many wonderful new ideas that will guide the work of Nebraska AEYC in the coming year. Attendance at this event is by invite only and includes a wide variety of early childhood stakeholders from across the various systems in Nebraska.
Nebraska AEYC hosted its annual planning retreat on June 23nd, 2016 at Mahoney State Park. Early childhood stakeholders from across the state came to discuss various early childhood issues. Topics of the day included:
