The NAEYC 2026 ECE Survey is open!
10,000+ educators participate annually, making this the most comprehensive source of data on the ECE workforce in the nation. From compensation and staffing to classroom conditions and program challenges, these surveys capture the voices and experiences of early childhood educators across the country. Survey findings inform policymakers, the media, and the public—strengthening advocacy efforts at the federal and state level.
The survey is open to all early childhood professionals, whether or not they are NAEYC members, and is available in both English and Spanish.
