Circle of Security™-Parenting helps parents give their children a feeling of security and confidence so they can explore, learn, grow and build positive relationships; all essential skills for life-long success.

Infant/Toddler Quality InitiativeSince 1999, Nebraska's Early Head Start Infant/Toddler Quality Initiative has supported Early Head Start (EHS) and community child care partnerships to improve the quality and professionalism of infant and toddler care. Through these partnerships, federal EHS grantees provide professional development opportunities to home-based and center-based partners; assist in training and mentoring; and observe and report on the best outcomes and challenges for child care partners who participate in the initiative, as well as measures of quality within the partner’s child care environments.

Nebraska AEYC Leadership AcademyThe purpose of the Leadership Academy is to increase the knowledge, skills and abilities of early childhood education program administrators (child care center directors or family child care home providers) with the expectation that they become more confident and competent leaders in their programs and the overall early childhood community.

RESPECTNebraska AEYC is proud to partner with the University of Nebraska (NU), institutions of higher education, and states/territories/tribal nations, to implement innovative programs to prepare early childhood educators, break down systemic barriers to education for people of color, and increase financial assistance and compensation for students studying to be early educators. This transformation of Nebraska’s higher education system is a statewide strategic initiative to develop a Responsive Equitable System for Preparing Early Childhood Teachers (RESPECT). The RESPECT project is designed to catalyze systemic change and fundamentally shift the culture of early childhood educator preparation in Nebraska to be more equitable and inclusive.
